What Is this thing??
i found this on auto trader it says its an 1980 elcamino with ss package altho it looks liek it has the front half of a 3rd gen camaro check the pic in the address listed below

They do claim it is one of a kind and the 3rd gen front end would prove that.

El Camino w/ Camaro style front
Thats a fiberglass after market package from a company in California, definately not one of a kind though. Still available and advertised nationally. I can't remember the name for sure, Luran Engineering, Something like that. Dave

i dont think it looks too bad. considering the SS front nose looks like a smooshed thirdgen (my buddy has an 87 monte SS and we were comparing our cars). deffinatly different. maybe with a different bottom lip it would be better. like a 91-92 front.

i actually really like the look of that.....
if it was slammed on the ground with some different wheels it would good as a show car. JMO tho

hey that one looks better then this other elcamino i saw...saw it on ebay with a camaro front..ugly as hell though , it was all stretched out and big ...im still for the montecarlo front

In person it looks pretty funny, it streches funny and angles wrong to fit the car.
Some usless g-body trivia, the (real) el camino SS had the "SS" nose first, not the monte carlo SS. The monte was heavily produced, so it came to be known as the monte carlo SS style nose, when in reality it was an elcamino SS styled part.
