They do claim it is one of a kind and the 3rd gen front end would prove that.

I believe it's a kit you can get from Choo-Choo Customs or some company like that. Definately not factory.

El Camino w/ Camaro style front

Thats a fiberglass after market package from a company in California, definately not one of a kind though. Still available and advertised nationally. I can't remember the name for sure, Luran Engineering, Something like that. Dave

i dont think it looks too bad. considering the SS front nose looks like a smooshed thirdgen (my buddy has an 87 monte SS and we were comparing our cars). deffinatly different. maybe with a different bottom lip it would be better. like a 91-92 front.

In person it looks pretty funny, it streches funny and angles wrong to fit the car.

Some usless g-body trivia, the (real) el camino SS had the "SS" nose first, not the monte carlo SS. The monte was heavily produced, so it came to be known as the monte carlo SS style nose, when in reality it was an elcamino SS styled part.

I think an el camino monte-looking nose is better than the "el Camaro". It looks kinda forced

I never been a fan of 80s el caminos and the thirdgen front doesn't make me like them any more, but it is interesting idea.
