A qucik trick to get them bugs off

Last week we were on a road trip through parts of Sweden and all of Denmark. By the time we came home the front and the windshield looked like a slaughter house LOL
We all know it can be time consuming to get these b@stards off, but I just learned a trick.

Take a big towl and soak it in cold water and hang it over the front/windshield and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Now they will wash right off.
It is important that the water is not warm though.

Maybe this is common knowledge, but figured I'd share just in case...

LB9GTA,
Supposedly there is some reaction between the cold water and whatever is in the bugs, that doesn't happend with warm water.
I don't know, I was just told this by a friend of mine who's a long term car and detailing nut. I tried with cold water and it worked, so I didn't feel the need to check with warm water. Just relaying what I was told

90FormulaWS6,
Yeah by all means. I dunno where you live, but here water is free, and when it works it makes for a pretty easy choice for me
