Non clear coated rim care

I have stripped my wheels of the clear coat and am clening and polishing them, again. I did this once and the clear coat cracked and chipped. Question is, what can I do to care for the rims if I don't spray them with clear?? This isn't my daily driver, so cleaning them won't bother me, I just don't want the brake dust to do antything to them.

Thanks

Get them powder coated with clear. It will last. Toss some prismatic flake in the clear. Add a touch of hidden sparkle.

There is actually a product called "Zoop Seal" and I'm pretty sure it's a sealant for aluminum surfaces. You might check that out. My TTII's aren't clear coated and oxidize a little....but..it doesn't bother me to polish'em up

just keep care of them and polish them up every once in a while.
