what backspace on the cragars ss wheels?

alright guys, i have one set of wheels ordered. but i really want a set of the cragar ss wheels. so far summit racing is the cheapest, i want 15" and i really like the big lip, what width is best for the back? i havent seen these wheels in person on a 3rd gen. so im completly lost on the backspacing and width. thanks, and if you know of any cheaper places to get them please give the link

Summit or Jegs is about the cheapest I know of. 15x8 with a 4" or so backspacing would be a no brainer. If you run a 15x10 you will need at least 5.5" and probably some inner fender work. I do not think you can get the cragar S/S with that much backspacing in the 15x10. What about the centerline telstar? It is much lighter and comes in an assortment of backspacings. It also is not much more expensive.

I ordered a set of 15x7's reversed offsets which have a 2 and a quarter inch backspace or 2 and a half, and w/ the factory size 215 65 15 tire they wouldn't clear front or back. The back was ok but if you hit a bad enough bump the outer fender lip, the very inside flat part of it would barely catch the tire. The front however had no clearance at all w/ that tire, when it was on the ground and tire was straight, you didn't even have a 1/4 inch betwen the tire and the plastic rivets that hold the inner fender skirt in. You couldn't turn them either. You'd have to run some 55 series at bare minimum unless you got like a 195 or skinner tire in say a 60 series or something. But for a 215 or bigger you'd have to get a 55 or smaller, prolly smaller sidewall series.

I was thinking of going w/ 15x8's all the way around since they have like a 4-1/8 backspacing.

crager ss rims look super hot on 3rd gens. I was at a party and a kid had an 83ish white z28 w/ those crager ss's. Super hot...

When I go to look for rims I'm getting those hands down.
