Ok i want something on my cowl sides to give it a little flavor, I originally was planning on the second gen style "air induction" down it but didtn really liek how it would look on teh car, I have pretty much planned on doing "cowl induction" down the side and it is going to be ghosted along with my stripes. That is until a guy i work with suggested i do a ghost flame or a ghost flag down the sides of the cowl, I really dotn know yet what i want on it i figure the flames and flag would be too tacky looking, anyone have opinions and have any good fonts to use for the lettering, i want something kinda blocky but a little slanted too,

Heres the style of flag he was talkign about where it appears to be waving, thsi helmet was done by teh guy that is painting the rs.

i just did this quick in paint shop, i dont know who's car it is or if its even close to lookin like yours, i just used the first close up of a cowl i could find. I think using the words "cowl induction" is the best idea cause they did that on the '70 SS chevelle, it reminds me of the best of the chevy muscle era

 

This is what ya need to get, you'll be your local police departments favorite 3rd gen... TRUST ME. except it will have a bit of a different meaning if you know what mean..


I should know me and all of my friends have the police real badges on our rear bumpers ROFL.

Hahaha words on the side of the cowl definately add some style. I've decided what to put on mine, but like you I haven't decided how to display it yet. Do you have any other words or stickers on the car? Or any themes with the car? For example in those pics with the blue IROC-Z, because it has the IROC-Z decals on the side, I would say try to use that same font. But in that case a sticker might look junk, airbrush probably better. All depends I guess. Can we get a pic of your car with the cowl?
