if you've got this far without being totally sickened by this crime against humanity , it was a firebird. the only way to tell was the dash /console , i really am not sure of what year or motor was in this poor thing .

I think it looks cool. A very sad end to a Firebird, but it does look cool none the less. I'd never do it, but I wouldn't discourage someone else from doing it.

Yeah, it's a kit car using a 3rgen platform. It been posted here a few time (though not those pics obviously). And... ?

Only people on this board find it a "crime" due to loyality to the car (which, I like the cars too but, couldn't care less about them being chopped up) . To anyone else.. it's just anothdr p.o.s. car mass produced by GM.

Trust me that car looks many times better in pics than in person. It is full of waves and nothing fits right.

awh heck, it's kinda neat.

It's funny, lot's of you guys (no one in specific) will eat, drink and smoke in your cars, but think that car is an injustice.

Here's something else that is pretty bad. Took these pics the other day

Super wide spaced stripes that don't even line up with the ones on the roof.

Oh look though, the roof stripes line up with the ones on the rear hatch

Hummm besides the steering wheel cover, seat covers, dangly bits and the rest... what could that purple thing be in the center?

Why it must be the power inverter for his computer speaker stereo system!

Maybe it's because I'm a foreigner, but that first car is fantastic. Much as I love Firebirds and Camaros, I also love kitcars.

You have to admit it does look like it was put together nicely unlike alot of kits. Personally I don't even think the pics of that car are worth even saving to my computer. Lol you can't stop everyone from doing what they like to their car, hehe.

it is a kind of interesting concept and if this particular example had been done right , might have looked pretty nifty. the white paint hides a lot of stuff you saw in person and it was not a pretty sight ,even the wheeels were corroded up. just not my taste. it might appeal more to your basic 60 year old person who does not care about performance but wants something "classy". they totally missed that mark in this case .

That white car is wrong on so many levels. Its like a bad train wreck that i shouldnt look at but keep taking peeks. Oh well, once the guy realises what a POS he has on his hands he can always sell it on ebay as a 1LE, or maybe a Firehawk

I'd like to see build pictures of that thing. How they modified the frame, steering, rear hatch area, gas tank etc.

Looks neat.
Whats wrong with a person chopping up a thirdgen and making it into something new. Just saw 3 - 1984 Z28's sitting in a field to be crushed next week. I think it is better for it to be running in this form, atleast it is clean, I mean its not so beat up like a hick car.

1st of all- that is a butt ugly car to begin with. 2nd- they did a crappy job with it and chose some ugly wheels for that car. 3rd- it hasn't been taken care of. I mean, you can't even clean your wheels for a show? What a pathetic waste of a thirdgen. Yeah, it's running, but it still looks like ****. I'd rather see it looking like sh*t as a thirden than looking like Sh*t as... that.

You people need to get over this thing. It's not like somebody converted a super-rare and expensive car into a pile of crap. At least it's interesting. Let's face it, f-bodies are cheap and there are plenty to go around.

My only complaint? No whitewall tires.

now the maroon excalibur is pretty neat looking.the white car just had been so neglected and put together so shoddily that it really was a waste of a thirdgen. if they had done a decent job , i would have liked it not be repulsed by it. kit cars are ok in my book , just take a little time and thought when you do 'em. it really looked like doody in person.
