SLP vs. SLP

hey all I am thinking of getting the ZR-1 SLP wheels for the old IROC. I am almost 100% sure I will be getting the SLP wheels. But I am undecided on what ones to get. do I get the silver ones or the Black ones. I am really going for price here. I am fine with the 17x8 and SLP is a name you can count on. I have never heard anything bad about them.

so sound off!!
Black or silver?

BTW it's going on a Black IROC with silver markings (no stripe)

black wheels on a black car makes for a lot of black... what you really need to do is get a decent side profile pic of your car and photoshop both wheels on your car. that's when it will become obvious. however, i'd vote silver on a black car.

Black looks good, but I voted for silver.

I think it depends on what color car you have. Some
cars would not look good with black rims. Some will.

OK, then I would go with silver rims to "accent" the silver
decals. That way, the hyperblack rims will not make the
look "too black" on a black car with black rims. The silver
rims will "stand out" and compliment the silver decals.
However, the hyperblack rims would make the car
look "stealthy" like. It's a tough call and would make an
even better decision if you were able to take one of
each color rim and put them up next to the car one at
a time.

Guys, the rims are NOT black. They're somewhere between silver and gunmetal.

I vote for Hyperblack.

Yes, I know. But sometimes forget to type in "hyper" in
front of the word "black". Those rims would make the
car look good. But again, both would look good since he is
going to have silver decals on a black car.

Hyperblack is just the name for these rims. As with all the
newer car colors. Crazy names for the colors of cars these
days!

Yea that is What I was thinking. To bad I don't have both sets of rims to look at in person.
