I need some styling help !!!
i need to add something to the trans am . I want to add the little ram air stickers that came with the car to the hood, but im gonna have them remade in black . Unless people think nothing would look better.i also want to add a windshield banner that says mecham racing, but i want it to be very light so it doesnt stand out , and i was also thinking about a number on the spoiler like the mse tas had. I just want to add a few decals to it to make it look a little better. What should i do to it, i wanna add something to it.

i'd get the ram air decals in silver or nothing at all..
plus i think clear corners would look killer and totally bring out the color on the gfx.

clear corner would def be a good thing.
... I'm not a fan of stickers usually, but if you got the # on the spoiler and a ram air one... either both black or both silver.

nolan..nice car
If it were me..I would have the gfx painted the same color as the car and call it good.

I think the ram air decals in silver would look better, matches the gfx. What # would you put on the spoiler? I think the camaro and firebird front side markers are the same but im not sure.

Is there enough room on the rear face of the mecham spoiler to have "TRANS AM" written across it like the 2nd gens had? I think that'd look pretty cool if the size and angle is correct.

clear corners. remove the rubber trim crap on the middle of the door, looks okay on some third gens but not yours.
Also id do the emblems in black, i think itd be too much silver if you did em in silver.

the body side molding is rivited on , it pisses me off that they are rivited, im not gonna take them off until i get the car painted. I think ill be getting the clear corners and maybe ill put the ram air stickers on and ill do a ps of the trans am on the rear spoiler.

if you do the ram air sticker, silver would look a lot better then black because of your GFX. your car isnt a mecham t/a so i wouldnt put the racing sticker or anything on the spoiler either. it wouldnt be as clean looking if you added them anyways.

Personally I like cars like I like women - naked, hehe, lol but if you use the Ram Air decal it would be cool if it were in silver to match the gfx. Clear front side markers would be a nice touch too. Your Trans Am is one of few I have almost no suggetstions to improve the look.

I would suggest adding the silver RamAir decals to the hood and maybe some small silver sail panel birds (stock appearing).
You may want to study pics of Mecham T/A's for some ideas.
Maybe add a # to the back of your spoiler. Find out how many Mechams were built in 85...than make your # one digit higher
You may also want to think about some TransAm fender decals (The hollow kind, not solid). But they may detract from the cars lines a bit.
Whatever you do I would try to keep it subtle...you have a good thing going with that car, so dont over do it. Big wing, hood, wheels, can turn out looking silly sometimes IMO...but it all works on your car.

Well if it was my car, I would do the following......
Now when you get the car reapainted, I would proceed to do the following......
My .02, I'm not really a fan of throwing stickers on a car to make it look better, I'm with DevianB, your car should be like a girl......no damn bra on the front and shaved......
- Clear Corners
- Silver Ram Air Stickers (just put on once painted)
Now when you get the car reapainted, I would proceed to do the following......
- Shave Antenna
- Shave Body Molding
- Shave Door Handles
- Paint one color

I have to agree with the no bra and shaved.
I also say silver ram air stickers...but...as far as the sidemarkers go...instead of clear, I say red. Get some translucent red spray. I know alot of people will say about the legality..but mine have been red for 2 years, got the car inspected with em, nobody said anything, and I've never been pulled over or anything. They just kinda blend into the side of the car. Just my two cents.

It looks better body color then sticking out clear on red cars, but again, the cops would be all over that in this area....

See, thats the thing. They're sidemarkers....how many cops are gonna notice red sidemarkers instead of orange ones? Like I said, I've been through a reputable inspection station, not just a local yocal place...and I've not heard a word. I honestly dont think anyone is gonna be the wiser. Now like blue, or another color, yeah I think they'd notice..but not red.
I would think the worse that could happen is the cops ask you to change em...if you have an extra set of orange ones, its no biggie...no worse than a tinted cover on your rear plate.

I would like to see some close ups of the the wheels, preferably the rear with your tire sizes. I would also put on the "Trans Am" that the 4th gens have on the lower front of the doors. I think it looks awesome on thirdgens.
flyinlow this one is for you . Im not going to paint the car one color. Too many cars nowadays are one color. I want two tone. I like it . But heres most things u asked for . I dont knwo about the handles but the other stuff will be done.

That looks so criminal with the handles, locks, and antenna shaved! I think clear corners, and silver decals would look insane. I think the windshield banner would look good in say like a "ghost" mode.

yeah..I agree that silver "ram air" decals would look great...I've been thinking about adding a set to mine..but..I dunno....
lol... since when did we start calling sidemarkers "clear corners?" Clear corners are the things next to the headlights on Civics and Tauruses.
I say keep the body molding but paint it red. Shave the antenna. Get clear or red sidemarkers. And definitely put some decals on the hood, preferably in silver. Then put a sick engine in there.

I second the Blackbird stripes, maybe with the "Ram Air" in black or charcoal inside the stripe. I'd stay away from the Mecham-like numbering thing though.

And also does anyone have a 4th gen with ramair .I would like to know what size rise the place where the stickers goes. I dont wanna order the ones and then have my place where the sticker goes be too small.
