polished or chrome
Ok finally decided on the 17" irocs, now the question is which finish. DO I go with chrome or save $300 and get polished? I have a 86 Z28 that is white with black louvers and do not plan on putting it in shows, just want to look good ridding around. Also which would be easier to maintain? Thanks

I've had both polished and chrome in the last year and am currently using chrome firehawks. So that is my choice. Check the link in my sig to Cardomain. It has pictures of both on the first page.

I like polished the best. The Iroc's look really sharp if they look like they just rolled off the lot.

Edit (what was previously posted was not coherent lmao)
I would go with the redone like factory if it was an option, but id take polished over chrome any day. IMO chrome is gaudy and looks cheap, where as polished has a nice deep shine.

polished is actually prefered on a show car, sometimes often more expensive since nicer billet wheels can not be chrome plated.

case in point my original z wheels were aluminum chrome tripple plated that were 2,000. my billet wheels are polished billet and retail for 4,500.
