i almost have my car ready for paint, and my question is where should i get my paint supplies.
this is the first time i have had to buy automotive paint and a buddy of mine said he would do it if i got the materials.
i know i need the flexible primer for the pastic stuff. what other special stuff do i need?
any help would be appreciated.

 

best bet is to go thru the yellow pages and look for "paint supplies and equipment' in the automotive section. my town has only 60k people and there were 3 stores in the area. ask them all the questions u can before u spray one drop, they oughta know the answers. i would recommend stage 2 or 3 cuz they look great. i used a 1 stage and it looks alright, but not for the effort i put into it. im gonna paint her again sometime soon and im definately gonna use a seperate clear coat. and remeber what they say "90% of the paint job is the prep work" so do a good job and you will be very satisfied.
