Split folding rear seats in a non-split

This was the only message board coming close to interior mods. I'm planning on putting a split rear seat setup in my project Z. Previously was a 1 piece fold down. What do I need beside the middle tranny hump hinges? Thanks for any help guys.

There is a hinge pin assembly (piece of round stock crimped in a bracket) that is welded to the transmission tunnel on cars with a split rear seat. You will need to get one of these and spot weld or bolt it to the tunnel. Other than that everything is the same.

There are a lot of people that have converted to 4th gen seats and might have what you need laying around.

There is a body and interior board if you want to post there also.

There's an article in the "Tech articles" section that explains how to do it. Good luck
