Now I know the whole lambo/gull wing door idea has been beaten to death, but...

I remember the post about the evolutionize body kit, that turned into a flame war, but on that car the doors opened up and out, and it looked really good. It seems most people discarded the idea because of the weight of our doors. It looks like they used several gas struts to lift each door. Keep in mind, they had fiberglassed crap to the doors adding more weight.

I'm curious, has anyone tried to replicate their design, sucessfully, or know how? It seems like it worked just fine for them.


OR, is there enough interest in a kit for the doors like that where we might be able to get a group order going for just the door coponents. If you think thats a good idea, lets try and get some people together and i'll try and get it done.

 

No one else makes them like that, and they wont sell them seperately, you have to buy the entire kit alot of people have asked about it.
