Gas filler door reinstall?

Gas filler door reinstall?
The door was detached when I bought the car and it looks ridiculous without it. However I think I am missing a part to mount this thing. When I set it in place there is nothing in there to screw it to? What goes in there to bolt this door to? Pics attached.

what your missing is a part called the Pocket.

Ah.. Makes Sense. thanks. These all universal between Camaro and Trans Am? I have a couple TA's in my local wrecking yard.

They should all be the same (F Body)except for the locking ones.

I have all the gas tank filler neck door, pocket, screws, etc for these cars if you come up short at the junk yard.

Don't forget the gasket. The door won't line up right without it.

Anyone have a picture of the said gasket? I installed my door and it looks awful and not straight with the quarter panel lines of the car and maybe thats why
