Hey guys,
I'm repainting my hood cuz it's chipping bad. It's in gray primer right now. I had a couple ideas. The first one is paint the hood a semi- or flat black with a white firebird stripe decal that was on the 82-84 cars. The other idea was to just paint the factory white color and or the firebird stripe in white or black, but I want a non-stock appearance. Also I was thinking to add the grand sport corvette fender stripes to any of the paint schemes and maybe painting the headlight pockets semi-black like the camaros. The car in the pic is what I was thinking of except for the bottom would be white and it would have the 85-90 ground effects.

bump. Any opinions? I've read some pretty heated discussions in here and lots of opinions. So I want your opinions, good or bad.

 

I'd leave it white myself, maybe a black stripe or two, but mostly white

 

I think it might look neat with a white hood, flat black buldge, and a regular paint/gloss/whatever white bird on the flat black buldge.

 

looks interesting. if you were to go about it, i would paint the mirrors and maybe the spoiler black too.

 

If you paint the hood black, do the top of the headlights too.
