i have some hood pins (not locks, sorry :/ ) from my cougar that I owned previously, i would love to put them on but I dont know how to take off the hood pad things, (the posts with the rubber stopper)

and has anyone put on hood pins with success? got any tips/ideas?

 

i didnt put mine in where the rubber hood stops were..since i thought my hood would need more stability i left the rubbers in cause i put a cutout in the hood for the cowl.. but anyway i got mine from summit, once i had them mounted where i wanted i put grease on top of them then slowly let the hood down then pulled the hood back up and it showed me where to start drilling.. its really a peice of cake if you have more questions just ask

 

thanks man, i got another question for you though, did you ever make blue prints for that sub box? i want to build my own, ***k spending 300+ on a custom... i wanted to make my own but never got around to making prints for it.

 

I will send you the plans i used.. it is custom cause i didnt use any plans but i did make some plans for others like yourself.. im over a friends house right now so i will send them to you tommorow.. the document is on my cpu... i wouldnt use 15's in the hatch because of lack of CF. but i am going to make a bigger box somehow.. later
