question about 92 Z28 spoiler on a 89 rs???

hi, i bought a 92 Z28 spoiler, (the high one), and just placed it on the back of my car to see what it would look like, and to me it didnt seem like it would fit. i did still have my factory 3 piece still on the car to, but seamed like the Z28 one was too long for my car? does it go all the way to the end of the car on both sides, and just dont bolt down on the ends, just the four bolts in the middle? if anyone has a good picture of there's that would be very helpfuly too. expecially if it was a close up. also, when i take my 3 piece off, will the paint be messed up under it? thank you.

The wing will fit no problem,, the decklids (dimentionally) never changed along with the rear quarters so the wing will line up properly. As far as taking off the aero wing,,,you will have 3 holes on the quarter to fill where the side pieces were bolted & 2 (?) on the decklid that will have to be filled,,,the paint will be dirty under the aero spoiler,,but will look alot better(fresher) than the rest of the paint on your car after being cleaned since it was never exposed to the elements like the rest of the paint. Hope that's at least some assistance.

Heres my spoiler. As you can see it goes over the deck lid and lines up with the outside of the rear quarters more or less.

I think it's actually either 5 or 7 holes under the decklid piece of the original spoiler. I just took mine off awhile ago when I stripped my paint down. I thought about adding the high-rise to it with the repaint, but didn't have the extra dough, so I just upgraded to a 3-piece with the CHMSL in it.
