? Size of my tires Anyone know ? lol
Ok I'm clueless as to what a size I should look for 1989 Firebird Rims and Tires? Looking to buy the Chrome ones or get custom ones. But the only sites I find are ones for Firebird Models 2000 and up. Um Where can I go to shop around for some and what are some good places to go? And What size should I look for? I thought they were 15in
Thanks for the help..............

Doesn't the size matter? I only know that I have an 89 Pontiac Firebird that I want to put matching Rims and Tires on. A nice pair of rims.
Looking to buy at least 1 Rim and tire a mth of the same style. I want to get like Snake skin Rims with green and yellow and to match my car seats. Hmm is this possible?

Like what is the difference on the sizes? Would all those be able to fit on an 89 firebird?
yeah they are all able to fit , but it limits your choices , and the amount of money you want to spend also limits your choices. I have 18s , some have 19's and less than 5 people on here have 20 's. you can make it fit , but how bad do you want them to fit . The real thing that needs to be answered is how much you wanna spend on them .

I work at discount tire co. and you can buy wheels one at a time if you want to there is no reason you cant do that unless the wheels get discontinued while your in the middle of buying them...better hope that doesnt happen
You can get anysize rim you want under 20 inch to fit a third gen i do believe the offset might change but thats ok ull just have a different offset as far as how wide you want keep it under 10 in the rear and under 9 in the front i always say but its up to you
Good Perf Tires
COOPERS
NITTOS
BFG gforce kdw
Toyo
Kumoh Ecsta
all of these will run you between 150-200 a tire for a bigger size
and as for rims most billet rims look awesome on third gens and definately find some rims with backspacing so you get that nice lookin lip and i would go with high polish instead of chrome but its your pref.
Good billet rims or chrome rims are gonna run you 3-4 hundred a piece easy you could go with Amer Racing rims which are a quite a bit cheaper and have a good selection
Decide your rim size 17X9s or something and then go to discount tire and theyll give you the right size tires for your rims

if you find a wheel you like...go to your local discount tire and ask them to give you a price...tell them that you are wanting to buy one wheel a month and that youd like to get going on it....i dunno they will probably ask you why you dont just want to save up and that is a good question it might be smarter for you to just save up for 4 months then get it all together and then you can have them put on as well...its up to you they will not tell you no and i have honestly thought bout doing the same thing too bc i wanted to get them bit by bit but if you really think about it you might as well save till you have enough money for all of them (atleast the rims) then buy the rims and save for nice tires and once you have it all your ride will transform quite a bit...
me personally i am getting 18X10s in the back and 17X8s in the front to give my car a little bit of a lean and i am getting b. coddington Tuned rims for my 1989 GTA (black) before i decided on tuned i was looking at the b. codd "osiris" rims and "harm" rims as well as billet specialties slx 45 rims that can be found on the fastforwardfastback...they look good...seach for the fastforwardfastback on yahoo and youll find pics Good Luck and do what you wanna do

The best thing to do is search through this site and see what rims people have that you like and go from there. Also just save your money tell you can afford all four tires and rims, otherwise you might have already purchased two rims and found you like a different wheel even more!
