thanks guys
well, the ride seems alot different...seems much stiffer to me. The best part..is that nothing scrapes or anything. I thought I would have had some issues with the exhaust..but..since I drove it home..it's fine

lets see if I can sneek this one in
I've tryed to make these look a little more sharper...still doesn't look all the great. The car was dirty....just got it back from getting it lowered...and it was about to rain. I'll be sure to get some much better pictures when it's clean and nice outside

I got these for appearance/show reasons only..but..I can always upgrade with other suspension mods if the time comes. Can you believe I've never even burned my tires before? My tires only chirp a little when turning while it shifts Joined: Feb 2001

Well when the time comes for you to stand on it be prepared for a loss of traction since you lowered your car. LCA relocation brackets will correct that in a jiffy.
Also, did your rear end loose center? Usually when you lower the car, the rearend will kick out toward the driver side. Need a adjustable panhard bar and shorten it up to keep wheels centered. My did with prokit so yours should move out lot more.

If anyone wants to get Eibach springs and not get the wheelhop problem, thunderracing (sponsor!) sells a kit with the springs, brm lca relocation brackets and adj phr for $360.
It says that it comes with the Prokit, but they'll substitue the sportlines if you ask. You could probably get a poly/rod phr too for a little more money instead of the poly/poly that it comes with.

and how do you know if the rear end lost center? The only thing I notice is that it's a much stiffer ride...that's it. My brother has had his sportlines on for over 3 years now with stock suspension...with no problems at all. Again, only for looks....not for handling or racing..

the drivers side rear tire will be poking outside the wheel well, while the other pass. side wil be tucked in more. The whole rear end assembley shifts to the left.

...to add to the "off center issue" this will also cause your tires to wear out faster, since it's out of proper alignment. You'll probably never notice since the car still seems to drive straight, but it WILL cause tire wear.
....I believe it's called the thrust angle. Anyone know for sure?

I think the only thing that will happen with my tires will be flat spots...from sitting in the garage. If it was a daily driver...or driven more..I could see how it would be possible for the tires to wear faster...but...trust..me, they won't..because I rarely get it out. I would get it out alot more if there were maybe some car clubs there were 3rd gen or even muscle car related...but...around here...there is absolutely nothing..just a buch or r*cers....

Your car looks great. If your just crusin on the weekends ,I agree with you and would not worry too much about the rear set up.I have seen and owned alot droped f-bodies over the years and they did fine as far as the rear was concerned...you will loose traction but like you said your not drag racing...I have the pro kit on the bird heres a pic to give some idea of the differnce between the two kits.I still race so I did not want to get too low.

well if your rear seem like its doing good and not poking out then leave it as is and just keep an eye on tire wear.
