I think your missing my point. Obviously everyone is entitled to an opinion. However, if see something i don't like on someone else's car, I would never say "you should have done this..." that's just being ignorant. Would you walk up to someone at a carshow and tell him that his exhaust tips were "fugly". The internet shouldn't be an excuse to be an ***.
IMO
IMO
So give him your opinions, but make sure they are only good ones and be nice and praise him, otherwise the opinion is no good and you are being an ***? That's the problem with people on this board especially. The entire appearance board is solely based on opinion, and none are ever the same, yet they can't take it when the opinion is negative. If you can't take it then don't post any pictures at all, asking for opinions. It's your car, so you obviously want it to look nice to you, so why go asking everyone's opinion in the first place if you are going to whine when everyone doesn't agree? There is a reason why I have never posted a picture of my own car.

Ignorance..takes over
Now that 25THRSS, has ruined this whole thread...and will probably be closed in a matter of time, I guess I'll go ahead and say my true thoughts about his stupidity. First of all, you talk about posting pictures...and asking for opinoins. I never asked for any opinions about any exhaust related questions. Last time I checked...this thread was about my car getting lowered...and how much of a difference it has now. I think it's cool when people stay on the subject...whether it's negative or postive. But when people like you...bring other matters into a thread..that has nothing to do with...that's just ignorant. That's why there is the option for PM's! If you have a specific question, problem, or opinion that has nothing to do with a thread..then use the PM! Don't waste everyone elses time with your negative, off-subject thoughts. I really love coming on to TGO after I do something to my car, actually this is the only place I can go to even talk about 3rd gen relative things....but people like 25THRSS...make me not even want to come here anymore. So Moderators, if you happen to see this reply, by all means, close it.

thanks for all the responses guys, it means alot
and Kandied91z...I definently expected that from you..haha. But, I thought about air ride...and it would have been awesome, but I probably would have had to ditch the stereo....and all kinds of stuff in order for the extra batteries (if needed) and air tank. Air Ride is still something I could get done in the future...but..right now...I'll just stick with the springs

TT II's my friend
I almost wish I would have gotten 18's...now that the car is lower...the wheels look smaller.

25THRSSS, The key to criticism is TACT. I am sure that 84cust. would have accepted your criticism better if you said that you simply preferred a different kind of exhaust, or that you weren't a fan of his exhaust. IMO, an exhaust that hides is more attractive, but I am not going to call anybody else's exhaust fugly. See my previous post on this thread for my opinion of the car.

no big deal, just giving you a hard time....
i'll be traveling a bit more with the next car so you'll get plenty of time to see for yourself.
looks good though... only one last thing you could possibly do to make the outside generally look better. i'm sure you know what it is though.

Man is that low. Noway though around here. We have speedbumps that would easily take you out. GrnGryOutmyway knows what I'm talking about. You can't go anywhere around here w/o running into the speedbumps that you have to kick in the 4x4 to get over.
I have the Pro-Kit and plan on going with 245/45/17's, although I have the stock appearing Dynomax cat-back, so I don't have to worry about any exhaust tips hitting the deck. However, my last ride on the other hand
TTII's look nice too.

Where I'm from, the land is actually very very flat...so I'm very happy for that. Otherwise..no lowering for me. I'm eventually going to get the exhaust re-done...probably next spring. I'm not sure with what kind of tips to go with though...maybe 4th gen or something a little slicker...
