i had decided to retire my cardomain page with the car but i've recieved countless emails asking why? i'd like to take a little poll on what you guys think. even though the car is gone should i delete the page when i start on the new car or leave it be?
back to the original thread...
I changed around the old page a little and added a few pictures that haven't been seen before.
for some of our new members and the rest of you that might want a few new pictures i changed up my page of the old car one last time. keeping it up for one month hoping to hit 100,000 views and then i'm deleting it for start on the new car.
check it out one last time...

the first page has a contents now so you can jump directly to what you want to see. thanks everyone.

If it were my car, I'd leave it up there. Or perhaps, give the password to the new owner and let him do what he wants to do with it.
I have about 260 pictures of my car, and if I were to ever sell it for some reason, I'm giving them all to the new owner on a disc. If I bought a car and the previous owner had a "photo documentary" of its history of sorts, I think that would be really cool to have and look through.
Plus, I like the pics and don't feel like saving them all to my computer

Don't delete it. Are you crazy?!
Probably half of TGO uses your car as the benchmark of what a car should be. And the other half would like to continue to be able to see the car you built. And still further, there are going to be many new TGO members who will want to see it.

that would be a hard decision. I think it's cool to see a different selection of third gens...and your 91 was different. It has the style I'm going for...and i got alot of idea's from some of the photos that were on the car domain site. I say, build a new site...with your new ride...but have maybe a page that has a few good pictures of your exterior, interior, engine....stuff like that...so atleast people can get some idea's for what would come up next to their ride. Yes, the 91 Z is in the past...but..there is no reason to forget about it..it was an awesome car....it would be ashame to forget about it..like you never had it.

yeah leave it up as a good memory and to all others interested in thirdgens
its one of the finest examples of our cars and will change the view of the cars in the public eyes. It will give more respect for the thirdgen community. the more people that see that car, the more they will like thirdgen camaros.
thats my opinion on it. its nice to move on tho, but so hard to let go. i would have a hard time getting rid of my car and its mostly stock and i owned it only for about 2 years now. mainly cuz its been a dream to own a muscle car (even tho thirdgens arent really muscle) since i was a kid going to shows with my dad. and the fact its my first car ever. LOL
So leave it up for the enjoyment of others. Fine job on that. Cant wait to see what your cooking up for the next one. Need any ideas, PM me cuz i got lots of ideas for thirdgens. LOL

Leave it. Just put that you sold it at the top o the page.
Why leave it? Well, I think it's pretty much been covered. That car is a great example of what a 3rd gen can be. Someone new to 3rd gens might see that and be inspired to build something just as nice (or even nicer!). I hope when my car is done it will have half the positive influence that yours has earned.

I am on the fence on this. I think your car domain site should be preserved like a shrine. However I have already swiped all the cool pics from it, so bring on the new project!!!!
I voted to keep it up...Main reason...Your ride is one of a kind and has your own personal touch....Same goes for everyone out there that modifies their cars...No matter how hard someone tries, they wont be able to match your ride and same goes for mine and every single owner on this board.....Keep it up there for memories just dont dwell in the past and say i wish i didnt sell it...if it gets to that point,i say delete the site...until then, keep on pimpin it

yeah id keep it up too. its free to have it there and its a testament to the hard work you put into that car. think of it kinda like a scrap book that everyone can enjoy and possibly get new ideas for what they would like to do with their cars. btw that is the most gorgeous third gen i have laid eyes on.

Yea leave it and pass it on to the new owner! I know your car has been a big inspiration to alot of people, and it would be nice for some of those just getting into thirdgens to have the same inspiration. Obviously the TGO regs have seen the site alot and your probably sick of it but it still serves a purpose.
thanks guys, i'll leave it then...
i had thought about doing a website for it but now that i'm building a new one i'm going to focus on it for the website.
thanks again.

Thank you, its still hard to even think of thirdgen without the 91 there. Maybe just put a brief thing at the top stating its sold hell i think i have a domain page from my bird floating around somewhere. Liek others have said anytime someone asks (mainly g/f's) why i put so much time and money into it, i go to the favorites and get on your page. Its an inspiration
