Has anyone ever scratched up their front ground effect....
and when u went to look at it, it wasn't only scratched, it had all cracks in it. I made a real fast turn, and scratched my front ground effect on the side on a curb. It was just painted like 2 months ago too, and when I went to look it had cracks in the paint all through it, shouldn't it just have gotten scratched and not cracked like that?? Did the guy not put in the flex additive or something?? Thanks!!

Who hasn't scratched their gnd f/x at least once before? I just got a new piece put on mine and hit a dip with it already. The paint scratched off but no cracks. If the flex additive was added right, the paint shouldn't "spiderweb" or crack at all.

The piece that was on there before this new one was painted a second time without the flex additive and it spiderwebbed pretty bad. This time, on the new piece, the additive was added on there and it hasn't cracked yet, even though it's been bent backwards already going up a steep driveway once.My bodyman told me that the reason my old piece was cracking so bad was that the flex agent wasn't added to either the primer, paint,or both.

I would. Not only did my own bodyman tell me this, but 2 others from a highly reputable bodyshop here where I live told me the same thing.
