Pics of my AR220's.... 315/35/17's.... also pics of my LS1 buildup & Moser 9"!
I actually bought these for my triple black '02 WS6 Trans Am convertible... but since the 315 nittos are bald and I drive my WS6 everyday right now, I decided to bolt them on my GTA to see how they'd look and fit. I actually like them on it qutie a bit and with the H/C LS1 I just built for the GTA... along with the T56 and 4.11 Moser 9" that is in it... it is the car that will need the 315's
What do you guys think? Before these I had the '97-'00 polished 17" WS6 rims on it.

Nice setup! Just curious, but I thought GTA's didn't get the "Trans Am" lettering on the rear bumper?
mine 91 GTA does not have trans am stickers... just GTA badges, and a pheonix(badge) on the b pillar
BTW: awesome car you got planned their, simeilar setup to mine which will be T56, and 9" rear also....i have a 400 bored .040 over which will have AFR alum. heads and miniram intake.

Nice rims! And it sounds like you will have quite the weapon when you are done. GTA's didn't have Trans Am stickers though, whats up with that?

what is the backspacing on them wheels?
I want a set of 17" wheels, would love to fit 315's under it but i'm not sure it'll look right, all the wheel/tire combos' with 315s i've seen look like they stick out too far.. Yours look pretty good, if they were tucked just a tad more it'd be perfect, but i'm not sure we can cuz of our inner fender clearance.. any comments?

Not saying it's the right sticker, but it was there at one point. Glad it doesn't look like it's there now, just the left over shiny paint that was below it.
The previous owner put a rear formula sticker on my car. That came off as soon as I bought it.

Again, nice car man!

Thanks for all the compliments guys! The car is a work in progress and always has been. The car IS a GTA and I knew the previous owner... I'm the 3rd one. He had put the trans am stickers on the rear and on the ground fx... not sure why... guess he thought they looked cool
Anyways, the 315's are about as far as they can go under the car... they almost rub the inner fenderwell. I'm not sure on the backspacing, but I'd guess 5.5" b/c they stick out about as far as my old draglites do and they had 5.5" BS. I'll probably end up putting these rims/tires on my WS6 vert and then take the 17" ws6 rims back off it and have them widened to 11" or 12" so I can run 315 or 335's on them and minitub the GTA so ALL the rubber will be under the car... that was my original plan. With 400+ RWHP, a T56, and this 4.11 Moser 9"... this car is gonna need alot of street radial under it to even move on the street.

Axle/Gears: 9" w/ 4.11's
ARP rod bolts
double roller timing chain and ported LS6 oil pump
P&P LS1 heads (exhaust port)
P&P LS1 heads (intake port)
assembled short block

4th gen Moser 9" with 31 spline axles, posi, aluminum center section, 4.11's, and LS1 brakes
Completed long block with MAC 4th gen headers (won't work), ASP pulley, & LS6 intake.
I think that is about it right now... all kinds of goodies in the motor.... hardened pushrods, comp 918 springs, thunder racing cam, titanium retainers, and some other stuff. It will run again someday... just thought I'd share these pics too... I know I always enjoy seeing everyone's buildup pics!
