Wheel Selection

Hey guys, I'm in the market for some new wheels. But I'm not sure on brands/styles, or how wheels will look on my car.

The Car will soon Have fresh paint, its a 92 RS, it has the Medium green metallic paint.

I like the look of the original wheels, they give it a good look, but with the dark paint, I would like somthing more shiny.

I'm just looking for some suggestions here, so let me know what you guys have in mind.

thanks for all the help, and I would appreciate some pics if possible.

thanks again,
Kyle

Well with are cars they have the standard 5 on 4 3/4 blot pattern so the option are unlimited u can pretty much choose any rwd wheel. I like the Torque Thrust 2's and i also really like a lot of the ROH wheels. I have the Torque Thrust 2's on my car

Yeah the black ice chrome finish on my ROH RTs is pretty nice imo.

I really like the look of chrome IROC wheels, but I would rather have somthing non-factory, so my car will stick out a little more.

there's alot of things you need to take into consideration as well. Most important would be how much are you looking to spend? There are several wheels out there that can set you back a week's paycheck, or some that can make you take up a second job. What it boils down to (aside from the style) is how big, how wide and the finish. Keep in mind that not all styles may go as big or as wide as you want, I had this problem with the stretched IROC rims as they only go 8.5" wide and I wanted something wider than that. This site has so many good examples of wheels on our cars, it's one of the best references you can use...try searching for anything really to do with "rims" or "wheels" and Im sure you can get some great ideas
