Made New Aluminum Bowtie for my grill
As some of you know, I painted my "bowtie" in my grill silver..which looked great, but I had some scrap aluminum laying around and thought i better get some use out of it. It almost looks the same...but you can tell it's actually aluminum because when light hits it...it kind of glows. I went with a brushed effect

i used a 2 part epoxy to install it...and it shouldn't become loose at all. I might be able to make another..I'd have to check what I have going on..it's a busy month

Well, I cut the actual bowtie out in class...in december. And for the inside, I used a dremal and a small file. Very Very Fine work...took many hours to complete. I almost wish I didn't finish school yet so I could still make cool stuff with all the tools

Yeah I was wondering how you did the inside. Your car is looking sweet.
IM a big fan of black, I cant wait to get my ss hood painted. It looks so good in black, my hood is in black primer at the moment.

wow, that looks great. and i thought your car couldnt look any better! your car is the one that made me decide that i wanted an SS hood, cause they look nasty on black cars. hopefully ill be able to afford one before painting my car in the spring. keep up the good work!
