anyone know of a machine shop that
will bore out aluminum? I am trying to get a Edelbrock 3704 bored from 42mm to 46mm for a build I am working on

 

I have that same intake, I did mine with a die grinder like you would port a head. Very easy to do. That dual plane intake is very restrictive, I use mine only for smog checks, otherswise I run my Edelbrock single plane MPFI unit with MPFI taken off it and TBI up top and gain 850rpms and about 60 hp over the dual plane- without changing anything else- yes there is that much of a difference.

 

This is the intake you want if you can find one. I need to take a current pic of it on the truck. I have the injectors plugged permanently and the fuel rials off it. It runs much better with the TBI up top then it did with Edelbrock crappy fuel management on the MPFI botch.
