R.I.P, my Trans Am....For now
well today was not a good day. I was driving a friend home and coming back i lost control of the back end of my car. Now i am in no way a bad driver, but the back suddenly slipped out. Anyway, i slid into a parked car. my car is trashed. no mechanical damage though thank ***. I need a new bumper, hood, and the fender has to be tweaked(not bad at all). Anyway im gonna start dismatling soon. I want to strip all the ruined away and rebuild.Im gettin a new impact bar from a friend.Im buying a new bumper(1986)And no front plate. know any good sites? im thinking hawks. As for a hood. Ram Air 1 baby. and everything else will be piece by piece. believe it or not, i am mad that i did this, but finally i have initiative to bring her to a new plateau. i am siked. Thanks for letting me vent. any way, do any of you guys have some pointers?im 17 and this is new but im amped. any tricks or advice? thanks and i will updat with my progress.

sorry to hear about you car. I have been there. But at the same time at 17 years old 9 times out of 10 you dont just loose the back end. I am not saying your not being truthfull but most of us here have been 17. Hope everything works out ok though.

A friend of mine always had a saying for a time like this,
"I had it under control, right up to the point of impact"
Just be thankful no one was hurt.
And at 17, trust me, you've got alot to learn, when it comes to driving. It all comes with time.
Be careful, and good luck with getting the car back on the road!

being 17 myself, i know how you feel, I loose control of the back end in big empty parking lots all the time, usually under heavy accelleration.
J/K but I know how it would feel, sorry to hear about your car, hope everything comes out smoothly!
