My dilema.....

OK. I AM going to get some new wheels fro Christmas. I really need em cause one of mine is messed up and causing the car to vibrate like mad, and I am going to need new tires soon. I fighre that I might as well go ahead and get the new wheels before I buy another set of tires for my bad wheels. Group A is out of the ROH ZS style ( http://www.groupawheels.com/zs.jpg ) in 17x9.5 (which is what I want on the rear, but they do have the 17x8.5 (which is what I want on the front). They do, however, have the Snyper style ( http://www.groupawheels.com/snyper.jpg ) in 17x9 and 17x8. I have stock brakes (disc/drum) so I think the Snypers might look a little funny unless I dropped a few grand for a set of Baer brakes. I am co-nfused at to what I should do. I want to run at least 295's on the rear, and 255's on the front. Will 295's fit on 17x8.5 rims? Any suggestions, thoughts? Thanks.

I've heard of 17x9" used with spacers it's in my pontiac magazine "traithalon thrash" performance mods w/ an '84 Trans Am. I'll post the manufacturer when I fish out that artical, the company has something to do with "corvette" in it if I remember correctly
