You have just done a serious double taboo. One, how dare you ask about a wheel less then 17 inches. Second, I will be the one to ask, have you done a search?
I love sarcasm
Actually i went through the same thing, and got nothing but unanswered posts, searches didnt reveal much, or I got a sales pitch why 17's are better.
Well i found my answers, and hear are pics of my car with 16x8 TT'2's

Hey im 91TPI5.7's brother. they have the same backspacing the factory rims got. i think the company he got them from knew what kinda backspacing the car came with becuz i think they just asked him what yr and type of car he had. the only thing he had to do was bolt them on. the rear tires are 255/50/16, fronts are 245/50/16.
he had the same problem as you with them tires. his tires are still pretty new as far as tread life goes and he didnt wanna drop more money for new tires if he got the 17's so he got the 16's.

5056861 5056863 Those are the part numbers, i cant remember which is front and rear. Once I got them I knew which ones went where. And the back spacing and offsets are diffrent than stock, but workout the same.

Saw a GTA at a junkyard yesterday with 255/50/16's on the back and 245/50/16's on the front. Asked the guy how much he wanted for the set and it was $650.

That is exactly what I want for my car(16s).
I see nothing wrong with that at all,
they look great on your Camaro.
And that is exactly the same tire size combo
I'm running, too.

91TPI5.7 ....Did you have to get wheel spacers for those and how much off the top of your head did you pay for everything. I found some tt 2's w/ 4" and 4 3/4" back spacing they want like $650 for the rims.

Ok, the color of the car is the stock GM bright red. As my consigliare, Tim, has stated.
There are no spacers needed with those rims, they bolted right up. I got them from Whiteys wheels, in West Va. I think. They were a vendor at a swap meet so i got a good deal. I paid 850 plus tax. If you go on AR's site and do the vehicle fitment they have, you get the numbers i got, plus all the sizing info.
