Anyone ever put 17" Ralleys on a third gen? Pics? I think 17" chrome rallys with flat caps would look pretty good on a 3rd gen, but my dad crenged at the idea ( and he likes rallys!)

No I mean ralleys. Some people call them corvette ralleys. The old style that was on a lot of camaros, chevelles, vettes, etc.. Factory where painted silver with a crome cap and trim ring.

Ick... IMO it would look like its trying too hard to be a '69 Camaro. Rallys only look good in 14" and 15"... bigger and smaller, YUK!!

i like the bigger ralleys on the first gens, it gives them the "updated retro" look, you know. kinda like: "hey, i am a modern day 1969 camaro" but it would need an ls1 or a ramjet 502 to really pull it off completely...

Well, everyone has there own taste I guess. One reason why was to be different.
I mean, someone sould do a poll, and see how many people here have, ZR1 wheels, Torque Thrust D's, etc..
But, I am probably not going with these, just looking at options, and to see if it has been done.

sometimes there's a very good reason that a million other people haven't done it, thus making it "different." This is one of those times... lol
