Aircraft remover question
Are you supposed to use this when trying to polish aluminum? I thought i read in a tech article that this should be used but i don't see why. Any clarification would be great.

It is used to speed up the removal of the clear coat on the rims. You could sand it off but you'll see that if you can eliminate some hours of sanding you'll be better off

nevermind i found it, I was thinking of 3M Marine aluminum restorer. How much better is the shine when polishing with this rather than using buffing compound and a drill?

I've never used that 3M stuff, but it sounds like its something you would use to maintain the polish job. I could be wrong since I've never heard of it before though
