As you may have surmised I am looking for pictures of the special edition ROH ZS Racing wheels on thirdgens.

I know several people have purchased the ROH ZS Racing wheels on this board but no one has ever come through with pics from what I've found. I'm trying to decide between regular ROH ZS and the ZS Racing.

My car is Admiral Blue and dark rims look nice with it so I'm thinking the ZS Racing would look best but, again, I really need to see pics.

Does anyone have these rims and the C5 brake swap? I hope there isn't any interference like someone said there is with TT2s...

If I were to get the ZS Racing I was thinking of having them painted with the center 'star' in body color like this:

I dont have pics that youre asking for but a buddy of mine had an 89 Mustang painted admiral blue with ROH ZS (silver) and the car was amazing looking. cruising with him, my brothers 5.0 vert with snypers, and my other brother's 383 LT1 Vette, his car got all the attention. Go figure.

That looks nice . . .
Yes, there are clearance issues with the C5's - they're pretty minimal though. I believe you would need to grind the caliper fins down partially. Vexter posted a thread a while back about this. Lemee see if I can dig it up for you.

Ah, there is interference? That's bad news... I'm pretty sure the ridges are structural on the calipers too.

Yeah, unless they've changed the diameter of the wheel of the ZS Racing. I have the ZS's and was planning on the C5 brakes - but found they'd need to be ground a bit.

I thought I remembered another post with more detail -- but maybe it was just our PM's back and forth. Hope this helps.

Hey Guys,

I just stumbled onto this thread. For some reason, ROH saw fit to neck down the inside diameter of the ZS series wheels. They're basically the same diameter (inside) as the stock 16" wheels. On a happier note, I haven't had a lick of trouble from my conversion. I've had many high speed braking runs with positively excellent results. I respect the opinions of Ed Miller and others who advise against grinding the C5 calipers and the reasons for that advise. However, I personally wouldn't hesitate doing this mod again.

Sorry for the thread hijack. Whatever you decide, good luck!

They don't fit eh... That's not good to hear at all. I'm not sure about grinding on the calipers. I think I'll go back to the ZR1s with Skulte adapters.
