clear coat for rims?????

I just got done stripping and sanding my formula wheels. I havent painted the fins yet, but that isnt my problem. I have no clue what kind of clear coat I should use. Do any of you guys know??

I bought regular auto clear coat and hardner at NAPA auto parts. My rims turned out very nice! Clear was $10, hardner was $20. Used about half of the quart can of clear and 1/4 of the hardner.

Those were spray paint cans??
Did you guys polish the rims yourself??

No this is the stuff you put in a real sprayer, not a spraybomb.
