Removing paint from Iroc rims.
I have 3 layers of paint on my iroc rims. The factory gold, then factory color blue over the gold, and now the current dark purple over the other 2.
How can I remove these to polish the wheels. Can I bead blast them with a light abrasive like walnut shells? I heard that full out sandblasting will pit the rims. I've also read about aircraft paint removal, but will that actually remove it all?
The rough aluminum areas on the rims are painted and I can't see the paint remover removing it all.
I would really like to strip thes down and polish them back up.

Is there a certain brand thats better. Our Walmarts in canada don't carry anything called "aircraft" paint remover.
What do you guys use then to polish the wheel once the paint is stripped. I imagine the aluminum under the paint would be pretty dull in appearance.

Look at the sticky at the top of the board. It tells you everything you need. Its called how to polish your rims or something like that.
