Meguire's nxt TECH WAX
Meguire's nxt TECH WAX
For those who do not use it this stuff is amazing! I used it on my bright red, 1991 Z28, garage queen tonight, and the car looks dripping wet!
Its such a night and day difference from before...
It elininated some very fine towel like scratches you know the ones you only see under a certain light for a flawless finish!
It glides off so easy too!!! If you are going to do up a car show, cruise, or just simply show off your car you cannot go with out this stuff!
It even includes a sweet aplicator...I bought it for $14.99

Got some samples in a car show goody bag...guess I will have to give it a try...is it a clear wax, or a white wax? Any abrasives in it?
I have been using a clear wax lately to cut down on any residue!

Heres a pic of mine, absolutely no fine scratches and leaves an awesome reflection. This was after Meguiars Paint cleaner, then Meguiars Deep Crystal polish, then finally Meguiars NXT wax

i on the other hand dont like and have almost a full bottle of it that is now used for waxing snowmobiles. I used to use it but when the car got dusty and i went to take the dust off with the cali duster it left like grease marks , like streaks on the car. SO i trued another wax on a diff car and it didnt do it . I dont know if something happened or what but now i use wizards poilish and it works just as well if not better. I must say the nxt did work well and it looked just as good as other stuff but i didnt notice any differences from the nxt to wizards. thats my experience with the stuff.

You are correct. It is the duster. My car is kept in a garage, and once in a while my duster will do that (leave streaks) and the car is not warm and was not recently ran. It only happens once in a while though, don't know why it does that sometimes.

Yeah, it's weird about that sometimes. I've seen people use it in the sun and I'm like wtf are you doing?!?! And it doesn't do anything. Guess they're just finickey. Anyway, don't let the car duster bring down the NXT. ALOT of people use it on the car detailing forums like autopia. It's a great product, it's the best you can just go buy locally IMO.

Where you buy a duster new you are supposed to wrap i it in newspaper I believe to let the excess parafin transfer to the paper instead of to the car the first time you use it! I kept my directions and try to wash the thing exactly as they say at the begin of each show season, or if the duster is really dirty. I only use it after the car has been just washed and has driven to a show...right before I Quick Detail it!

I recently used the nxt wax on my Camaro and I'm very impressed with the shine and ease of application.
However, my car has some swirl marks (from compounding overspray) and scratches that can't be hidden by the nxt wax. Before this, I was using the Meguire's 3 step wax and it works really really good. Applying the cleaner wax before the nxt wax should make the result better.
I attach pictures of my car after waxing (of course if you see it in person, from certain angles you can see the fade swirl marks).

Ive recently been driving the car and get home and its dusty and use the duster and it doesnt get crappy , but ill keep that in mind . But ill stick to the wizards cause its cool to be different and use it .

You have to let your duster sit on newspaper for a night or so and let all the excess wax get out of it. I see so many people skip this part and it is very important in order for it to work properly. I use my duster all the time and it never leaves streaks

Yes, you have to do that when it's new. But if you're STILL getting streaks, it's OK to go ahead and do it until there are no more.

I went to Autozone, and they were sold out! It's been flying off the shelves. Got to go back Tuesday and get some!

Does the NXT wax remove/hide fine scratches? I might go try this stuff out after all the good reviews.
