I have a 91 Z and I want some opinions on a good looking hood for my car. I have a list of a 2" 3" 4" or 4 3/4 cowl hood. or a ASCD ram air hood. which do you guys think would look best with my spoiler?

If by ram air you mean the SS style and I'm assuming you have a high rise spoiler, I think it'd look sweet. So would a cowl too. Look around through posts in this board for discussions about cowls and you'll find a ton of pics of them in all heights.

 

I have a 92 Z28 with the 5.7L and almost the same mods. I went with the Unlimited Power Products fiberglass cowl hood. its a 2 1/4" cowl and looks sick. Their website is located at up22.com. well, do you want steel or fiberglass...i have a heard a lot of good things about the up22.com fiberglass hoods which come in a ton of sizes, but if you are interested in steel or it doesn't matter what material, I highly suggest the goodmark hood. It is listed as 2inches, but actually measures about 3 inches...check it out at goodmark's site www.goodmarkindustries.com or to see a painted one look at my site http://in.fortunecity.com/meltingpot/canada/80/ i don't know about with the spoiler, but i think it would look bad as hell with that z-spoiler..i like it with my convertible spoiler

I personally like the 4" cowl hood. That's what I have on mine, but I have the smaller spoiler. If you have ever seen a picture of MeanYellowZ's old car I believe his was a 6" with the same style spoiler you have. I got mine from Glasstec.
