Strut tower brace

Good evening.

I've been looking at strut tower brace options for my 87 Iroc. Im look at the chrome one from Iroc Motorsports. My question is are these are good addition. What are the best options? Thank you!!!

Re: Strut tower brace

Buyer beware with Iroc Motorsports. Numerous complaints on various forums regarding their service, etc. If you are still sourcing a STB, I’d look to other vendors. Perhaps consider posting in the parts wanted section on this site.

Re: Strut tower brace

Yeah do not trust Iroc Motorsports.
I'm also looking into which STB would be best but I'm sure any of the major names like UMI, BMR, Detroit Speed, etc. will work just fine. It's just up to you on which design you prefer. I personally have been trying to confirm which STB would clear an LSA supercharger with a stock hood (if that's even possible). That being said, as long as your engine/intake clears, get what looks best to you.
Also, if you do not have one already, a wonder bar has a more noticeable effect on front end tightness than STB. I would get that first and they're generally less expensive.

Re: Strut tower brace

Wonder bar is WAY more beneficial than a STB. Even more so are SFCs. If you don't have them you should.
