Those wheels are ZR1 replicas and came with Pontiac Center Caps. Ironically, I got them from a guy who had them on his Camaro.

 

Although the hood is not really my taste, this is one of the best Formulas I've ever seen!! I always secretly want a Formula in addition to my 92 RS. I like them for their subtle look (without all the attention you get driving a TransAm or GTA).

nice, did you ever decide to put the decals back on the dorrs? I think you should just so people know what it is and to break up all that red a little.

 

I am considering putting all the decals on the car as well as the Ram Air hood decals once I get the airbox modded and fitted onto the radiator shroud.

It's strange, I don't miss it as much as I thought I would.
The Formula is pretty much the same inside as the 86, so it feels like I am in the same car. The Formula is just a bit slower than the 86 was when it was running.

I am running Eibach Sportline springs on the car.

The tail lights are pretty shiny, but the car was dirty when the pics were taken.

It's a different car. I sold the multi-colored LT1/T56 car a couple of months ago to a buddy of mine. It wasn't completed so I let him have it for $5K.

 

I think TGO misses your car more than you do... lol

The Formula looks GREAT though, it's coming along.

looks good , i like it , the car would be perfect for me if it was a hardtop , but other than that its totally perfect . How wide are the rims and what size tires you runnin.

That is a ding by the antenna. I forgot to tell my friend about it and he didn't notice it till it was sprayed.

I am running Nitto 555RII's on all 4 corners. These are the Auto-X/Road Racing tires by Nitto and they make the car grip around turns like it is on rails.
17x9.5 are the rims with 275/40/17 all around.

 

Yeh the sidewalls on them are stiffer then the R's.

 

Yep, and makes for a really harsh ride.
