Down in flames
Yesturday my mechanic called me and told me he just got off the phone with the cops.
Somesone stole a 2004 mustang, ditched it next to my car, and set it ablaze....
drivers door, roof, half the front 1/4 panel, and rear 1/4, and hood all destroyed....
half the seats and dash are also burned.
i went to go see the car and water poured out as i opened the door.
the fire department broke the hatch to get at the flames....
all that i found at the scene was a burn GTA emblem, and the switch for power windows.....
i havent driven the GTA all winter, i was going to start driving it again this week

it wasn't insured...
didn't insure it for the winter, because it wasn't going to be on the road
either the mustang's insurance or the shops (But this technically was just outside the shops limits, so who knows)
thinking of grabbing another f-body....body....and swapping over all my parts
at least i might have t-tops this time...
Anyone wanna give me their old f-body with blown drivetrain?

That totally sucks man. I don't know what I would do if I got the phone call that you got... probably go hurt the person who did it if i could find them. You have any pictures? Anyways sorry to hear about the GTA

I _MIGHT_ have pictures.....its on my crashed computer, if i manage to recover the files ill have pics
it was a beautiful example of a GTA, dark red/maroon with recent paint. duel stainless duel exchaust from flowmaster on 4" barrel tips comming strait off the back of the car. GT steering wheel, racing seat, black tint. no spoiler.
only one half is burned, if i cant get the before pics, then ill just post the after, the passenger side looks like u might not be able to see the damage from some points, so i might take a few pics of what It USED to look like.....
itll be a day or so before the car out of the towing yard tho....
its sitting on rims, cause the tire burned, gotta get some wheels or they're gonna charge double to use a flatbed.
if i catch the guys, only *** will know their pain, and take pity on them.

Thats why I don't take my car anywhere to be worked on. It stays right here with me.

that sucks *** man, id be gettin drunk at the beach if i were u to.
on a lighter side i have an 87 T/A taking up some space in my driveway...i still need to take the engine and tranny out of it(i dont know when this will be happening...soon hopefully) i was planning on parting it out cuz theres a few things i still want from it...if u want u can come take a look or ill snap a buncha pics of it if u like...theres 262,000 kms on the car so its been very well used and abused. if ur interested let me know, i got a digi cam so pics wont be a prob. i noticed ur in new west-im in ladner
