aero wing refinishing

aero wing refinishing

o.k the wing i have has cracked paint, other than that, it is in good shape, just cracked paint. What can i do to eliminate the cracks and prepare for refinishing?. anyone???

appreciate all help

You can never get rid of the cracks in the paint. Even the most perfect cars w/ aerowings have those cracks. It is because of what they are made of. The only way to get rid of them forever is to buy a Fiberglass replacement.

get a couple of cans of urethane parts paint remover, and an afternoon, and strip it, that should atleast get rid of the cracks, and give you a fresh peice to repaint.
