restoring greyed black plastic
what products are out there to make faded black plastic black again. the little antenna stand (not sure of its actual name) has become very greyed after years in the sun. I tried the black trim spray, nothing, tried using some rubbing compound on it to remove oxidation and still nothing, what other products or techniques are out there to do this? would be nice if you have used it first hand. it is the only thing that bothers me when I look at my car.

Mother's makes a product just for this. I think it is even called Back to Black. Most parts stores should have it. I have not used it, but here it does wonders for grayed black plastics.

youll need a new peice. Thiers no way your going to restore it back to original color. That peice is basically in the sun for the whole day everday due to its location. Thier not expensive.
