I recently polished my rear taillights and discovered that the lines between the clear, yellow and red areas are showing through the black. This must mean they are painted with something, da.

What kind of paint should I use to restore them?? I noticed that some areas that are painted polish up very well like the plastic areas. I am guessing the paint should be strong enough to be polished when finished.
