After months with a perfect interior, i finally have a crack in my dash. I was drilling a hole in it so i could put the light for the security system, and i wasnt drilling fast enough i guess...
Anyway, theres a HUGE crack down the center of my dash, and it bugs the $*!* out of me. A new dash is about 300 bucks, and good luck finding a perfect black dash in the junkyard. Is there anything I can do?

 

I think you're wrong about the junkyard. I've seen a few before in the yards. I think it's worth checking, for sure. Mebbe I'm just lucky to have yards full of f-bodies around here Oh yeah....there's also this place called 'Just Dashes' that specializes in that sort of stuff. Find them. I can't imagine it would be cheap, though.

 

you can find them on ebay for around $100 or less in great shape. good luck

I had I crack on my driver side speaker, and this morning when I went out to my car it and spread big time. It looked like a very big Y. I went to a local junk yard and after a couple hours of scouring the yard I finally found a perfect dash laying behind a shed. In other words I feel your pain.
