Taking the taillights off is as simple as unscrewing 6 wing nut type things on the back of each light. Total time for removal and installation of lights: 10 minutes if you're slow.

polishing them up can be anyones guess depending on the speed you do it, since everyone is different and every tail light is different

Take off the plastic panels in the cargo area (you may have to reach behind the plastic panel on the driver side). Then unscrew the black wing nuts and pull off the tail lights.

i got around to doing my taillights today they look so much better. im so happy with how they turned out and it was very easy and didnt take long, how i did it. Psycho_91Camaro told me how he did his so i tried it on mine and man they look great. All you do is get some mothers mag and aluminum polish and put it on the taillights let it sit for a min. or two and buff it out with a terry cloth. I had read other posts of people going to the extent of wetsanding and all this stuff but doing it as stated above worked great for me and didnt take much time or effort or tools, all you need is an old t-shirt to apple the polish then buff it out with a terry cloth. i had great results if anyone else is thinking of polishing their taillights this is the way to go

people who do the wet sanding ussually are doing it because of scratches in the lenses or what not. that and to get rid of all the raised DOT numbers and such on them so that the entire lense is perfectly flat (as much as anything can be flat).
