Help me to pick final design

I know some of these cars belong to people on the board and I hope you dont mind me borrowing them but they were so close to what I want for my car!

These are the 4 designs (words added on all pics) I am torn between for my final design! The difference in the two flame cars is that one is more ghost (I am sure he's on this board) and the other is gold pearl so it's not 'ghost'.....

The actual color my car will be is an orange that's slightly darker than Hugger Orange and will have some pearl over it.

i just dont like the bottom left. the black IROC decal with black stripe.
I dont really care for black accents on orange anyways. I think two white stripes (like the style of the top right) would look best.

LOL duh on the T/A! I just had to use that to get the feel of the color with the gold pearl flames, silly!

My idea for you would be this: Do the paintjob that the Firebird has, and put the black stripes on so they appear from under the flames. Instant show winner.

i can attest for chris's car, top left with the pearl flames on it, it looks absolutley mint and in some light you cant even see the flames and as soon as you change angle there they are. pearl flames are def the way to go, his sn on here is tunedport335 if you want to talk to him, bottledbird68 who is also on here painted it for him

EDIT: and it dont have iroc on the side either

I dont really like the black on orange just because it ends up looking like a pumpkin.

Have you thought about maybe... silver stripes?

I kinda like the top right, and do silver heritage stripes? and the black / silver iroc decals

I really like the orange and black- plus my interior is orange and black. I can get away with orange and pearls though. I don't think I've ever seen any pics of the orange with silver stripes so I can't really picture it...... I don't really care for the orange with white stripes - too blinding ...or something......

my vote goes to the top right design. One thing that you MUST do though (In my opinion) is keep the headlight area black. Honestly, i think Camaros look hideous if the headlight area (forgot the exact name for that spot) is the body color.

Oh no matter what design goes on, I'll have the headlight pockets painted black. That's a must!! I also am rather adament about having IROC-Z on the side because I don't want any question about what kind of car it is. :-)

I think the firebird looks good. Orange with gold pearl looks sweet. Then you could use the gold stripes and IROC decals that came on some IROC's originally.

I like top right best. It seems to be the 'raciest' if you will. I'd lose the IROC-Z sticker though.

What color, type of pearl are you going with?

My car is getting painted now, PPG bright orange (basically hugger orange)

I am going with HOK Copper Penny Pearl over top it.

I will be a gold pearl. I'm going with PPG Monarch Orange (tad darker than hugger orange) with a layer of (regular?) pearl over that to make it pop. My car has been at the shop for about 4 months so the suspense is killing me!!! The guy is supposed to be doing my car next in line and that should be in the next week or so.

You'll have to post pics of your car when it's done!!

Yes we go to that track often although we haven't gone lately since it's been so freakin' hot. It's a fun track and it's 1/8m. It's a great place to TNT.

wow i use to really love orange and was thinking of painting my next car orange. maybe a candy orange would work but i'm not sure about the above cars. the top left or TunedPort 335 car looks more red then orange which isn't bad, but the rest i'm not so sure about...

as far as flames they are a personal choice but i prefer the longer whipping flames then the short stubby ones. the shorter flames almost look like thick tree branches on a car. again it's all preference.

good luck.

I don't have a pic of the actual color I will be using but it is a bit darker than Hugger orange..... I just had to color 2 of those to make them orange at all.

It's hard to find good pics of flames specifically on a third gen.....

only been once, spun the tires so hard we beat the bearings out of the motor...probably won't go back till they clean that place up a bit.

Yeah my car is GM Bright Red. My camera tends to make it orange in bright sunlight though.. here's one of the better pics of my flames-
