I have an 85 Iroc and it's black on black interior with gold stock 5 star's & gold Iroc badge on the lower door . That much is corect . My ? is it has a gold pinstripe along the top of the fender and run's with that body line back ,along the door and rear quarter . Sorry no photo's , anyone have a photo off a bone stock paint job of an 85 roc in black and gold ,or can you tell me where it should be. Never seen a stripe like mine real thin . It was just painted when I bought 10 year's ago .THANX

 

the pinstripe you described doesn't sound like it came on the car stock. It's possible that a dealership may add a pinstripe before selling a car, but it wouldn't come from the factory with one

Thank's for the imput I know the stripe is not stock , should of left that detail out . The ? is did my car come stock with the stripe allong the bottom . Do not know if I want to put one there when I repaint & piture would help me dicide . Never seen a black one with gold stripe I have seen other color's with it .

 

my 87 IROC was black with gold accents and it had the stripes along the bottom. I believe if you check your RPO codes(if you still have the sticker) one of the options should be a lower stripe package

 

Will have to look into that . The sticker on the door ? not very good a decodeing . Can't say I tried eather Thank's Man

 

actually its the sticker on the inside of the console lid. it has a series of letter/number combinations. if you copy those down, there is a decoder on the main page where you can input those codes and find out all the options on your car.

 

Fat chance of that still being there thank's for the help .
