Bright red 1988 Pontiac Trans Am GTA *Wow! 56K and slow computers beware!*

First I would like to say my pictures are hosted on ImageShack and not ThirdGen.Org.

I think my pictures could make good wallpapers for computers, don't you think?

-1988 Pontiac Trans Am GTA
-Bright red
-T-Top
-5.0L TPI engine
-4 speeds automatic transmission
-3.27 limited slip differential
-Power everything
-Digital dash
-Radio controls on the steering wheel
-All the options except leather and the 5.7L TPI
-118 500 original miles
-Always stored from october to the end of april
-Not one single performance modification

Yeah my car was for sale not long ago in the classified of this site. It's still for sale even if I don't wan't to. I sell it only because me and my girlfriend are having an hard time these days...

Here are some pictures, just click on the thumbnail to get the full size:

Are you going to put a GTA emblem on the nose? Did the previous owner remove it and paint over it, or did he replace the bumper with a regular TA nose?

I love 87-90 GTA's!!! Lucky bastard you!

BigWhiteGTP: Yeah I know the emblem is missing. I will buy one off eBay someday.

But I don't know what ever happened to the emblem, the 2 previous owners didn't know either... Hmmm...

It's a true GTA, I have the code Y84.

I like the banshee nose GTA's best but in reality, there isn't a GTA made I dislike.

Sweet!

I was supposed to post some interior/engine/without T-Top but I was busy at works... Tomorow I go see my parents so maybe in 2-3 days I will post additional pics here.

Thanks for all the great comments, I have changed my mind and I might keep it after all even if it mean living outside...

Is it more, or in the very first pic, drivers side of your wing, is it a bit non-straight? Jsut looks a bit odd...
Apart from that complaint, the car's awesome... Like white, red looks bad unless done in a certain way to me, and I like yours!

I have to admit the wing is not straight as an arrow anymore...

GM made these wings cheaply...

Yeah there made of some urathane composite crap. Unfortunately thats what happens to all those original wings eventually. Thats why I got a fiberglass wing for my GTA. My 86 is in dire need of a new spoiler but the GTA is getting fixed first.

i saw a white TA in a used dealer lot with 140k miles on it. The spoiler felt like rubber! It was chipped so bad that it looked like a checkered flag cause the spoiler was black underneath. How could you make a spoiler out of rubber
