Anyone know if the black side moldings on t-tops can be replaced?
I'm not sure what to call them, but the plastic kind of side moldings on my t-tops are all chipped and flaking and I dont want to buy new t-tops...

If it's what i think your talking about just sand them down with about a 600 grit, clean them well, and repaint it with a can of black-trim paint that you can get from usually any local auto parts store. That's what i did and they look as good as new. Just paint thin coats with a good drying time between each coat so you get a smooth black. Im not sure if you could polish this type of paint but a friend used paint polish on his original set and they look nice and glossy.
