Is it photoshopped? Hood and GFX look wierd to me.

Other than that, some good wheels and tires and a bit of lowering would do wonders for the car.

Im not sure what GFX means but the hood is a fiberglass cowl. Im not sure if I want to lower the car more or just add a body kit.

GFX = GRound Effects. The piece under your door. What kind of hood is that? Looks kinda like an L88 . Any other pics?

Im not too fond of 82-84s. Yours looks alright. Car has a van appeal with the lower sideskirts with nothing on the front or rear.

Any pics of the front to see the cowl hood some more?

Good heck. either take the ground effects off the side or but ground effects on the bumpers.

BWAHAHAHAHA!!

Those look like some old people rims you got there. A nice set of GTA rims would do well for that car.

I actually think the rims look pretty good with the white letter tires, but GAH, the door GFX only look WEIRD!

Hey, I think your car looks good in the pic. It might look different closer up, but from this distance it looks ok. It's black too and the photo looks alright. As far as your ground effects below the door are concerned. It was 1982, the body was a major change from firebirds of the past, music was going from the disco screaming chicken era to glam rock. Rear spoiler looks good. And the hood, whatever floats your boat. Chrome wheels always look good on black cars. Spoked ones too. From this distance it does look like an L88 hood. It looks nicer than most of it's vintage. Don't listen to the dissers, thiers are pobably up on wood with grass growing up from where the console used to be,...Enjoy.

Don't change a thing if you like it. That's all that matters.

I think it looks great. However, if that is a mustang wing, I'd have to frown as well.

The car does look good with those wheels and i like the hood ...but the rear spoiler...ehh...its allright i guess. I think the factory 82 rear spoiler looks better.
I think if you get the rest of the GFX it would look a lot better.
Overall though nice '82.

The rear wing is a corvette spoiler. I just bought the car 6 weeks ago. The only thing I've done to it so far is put on new perille (sp?) tires in the front. I would like to put on ground effects for the front and back but can't find a place to buy one. I don't want to lower the car in case it needs to get towed. I have no idea what the hood is, just that it's a non-functional fiberglass cowl hood (one that I've never seen before). I think my favorite part of the car is the notch hatch and if you look at the window you can see a pegasus thats been acid etched into the windows (I bought the car from an old hippy). I want to get some center line wheels, those spokes are a bitch to clean. O by the way, what the hell is a foot car?

82' vs '82
'= feet, like "= inches
the apostrophe was on the wrong side of the 82

They were just "ribbing" it a little. To many acronyms in the world today anyway. Before all that we decided to shorten a unit of measurement??? What were we thinking. Maybe not such a wise move after all. Now that the tecnology age has come and gone.

And you said 'to' when you should have said 'too'.

Just playing, of course.

How would I go about lowering the car? Is it difficult?

Nope. You go get a set of lowering springs, for, ah, 150-200 bucks, and install them. Follow the easy step-by-step instructions they come with.

Or you could be ghetto, unsafe, and possibly illegal, and cut one full coil off the bottom of the spring in teh front and the top in the back.
