how to protect new paint

i got my car from body shop . paint looks really good. i want some tips how to protect it. i got meguiar's next gen wax.can i have some pointer how to do wax.i will only post my hood pic . soon i will post all the picture. i am trying to make my own wedsite.

I use the same wax (wont use anything but NXT). Go grab some microfiber towels to take of the wax with. They wont leave any fine scratches and can be washed.

also when waxing, wax in straight lines, not circular motions. Seems to help me with less swirl marks.

Which hood is that?
I agree with tunedport 100% nxt is a great wax and always be sure to use microfiber towels. I would not wax though for at least a month or longer, depending on what kind of paint was used.

HOK says not to wax for at least 60 days with their paint products... ask ur paint guys how long to wait...

Yep, you can polish the paint, but ask your paint guys when its ok to seal it with wax.
