I never really liked the wheels that came with the car. I also would rather not have to deal with wheels spacers so that mostly limits me to stock wheels. So I am now at a toss up between formy wheels, standard bird wheels, and firehawks. So which wheels do you all think fit my car the best? Also open to other options if someone wants to photoshop them on the car.

definitely Ronal R15s (firehawks) out of those 4.
but i also think you should look at GTA wheels. they are cheaper but if you got the $$$ definitely the firehawks

thats what i would go with.

 

 

you could also pick up the 16x8 formula ws6 rims (#3). Paint and polish them to look like the T/A (#4) rims. Put on black T/A center caps. I have done it and it looks way better than the GTA rims.

edit: #1 and #4 are 15's. Note: They don't make z-rated tires for 15's. If you ever upgrade to 12-inch disc brakes, the 12 inch brakes may not fit.

#2 is the best. 17 inch rim. Perfect. Allows z-rated tires, 13-inch disc brakes. If you ever want to upgrade later.

 

I vote for the Ronal R15's they would really look good on your bird, or any bird for that matter.

Out of those however, the firehawks clearning big brakes.

 

i would buy whatever wheels you want with the proper back spacing. go to a tire(rim) shop and talk with the guys in back not the sales reps. Ask them what rims will fit without spacers if you flip them a copple bucks they might even let you test fit some rims to find out. out of those rims i like the ws6 personaly. mine were riped off

thanx for the input guys, Im just stuck between the firehawks and the 15" bird wheels. Ive always loved white lettered tires but they would be sacrificed with the firehawks. Right now the car is a daily driver but if I were to do brakes and suspension I would limited. Also thinking of getting the best of both worlds and doing what Firebat mentioned and painting the inside of the wheels black with black centers.

i own Firehawks! They look awesome on a 91 Z. They even look better on a bird Make sure you get black inserts. I didnt want to get the black inserts cuz they were a extra 400 bucks!!! So im gonna do them myself this winter!
